Roxana joined WHPS in 2018 and holds a master's degree in Child and Family Studies and a bachelor's degree in Child Development. Before joining the leadership team, she served as Lead Teacher for the Oxnard Campus Two- and Three-Year-Old Program, where she became a mentor to fellow teachers and helped strengthen classroom practices across the preschool program while developing deep expertise in early childhood education, play-based learning, and meaningful partnerships with families. She is also a proud WHPS parent.

Roxana provides leadership for the day-to-day operation of the preschool program, supervising and coaching teachers, supporting curriculum implementation, and helping ensure a high-quality preschool experience for every child and family. She partners closely with families throughout the preschool years, providing guidance, resources, and individualized support while helping each child build the confidence, curiosity, and strong foundation for lifelong learning. Her collaborative leadership style, deep understanding of child development, and commitment to strong partnerships between home and school help foster a preschool community where children are known, families feel supported, and teachers continue to grow professionally.
