Joette Verstat has been in education since 2016 and joined WHPS in 2020. She initially served as a preschool teacher and was promoted to serve as the Assistant Preschool Director at the Collins campus. While Ms. Verstat continued her education and completed a BA and Multi-Subject Teaching Credential, she served as a kindergarten long-term sub and has worked across multiple grades in the elementary and preschool programs.
Mission Statement
My mission as a teacher is to create a play-based environment that encourages students to learn through discovery. I aim to build social skills that will benefit these children throughout their lives and plant roots that will help them bloom and grow to their fullest potential.
