Parent Organizations
Joining WHPS means becoming part of an incredible community of families and educators who support each other and the school in many ways. There are countless opportunities for parents to be involved in the life of the school and make meaningful connections with other families.
Every family is automatically a member of the parent organization, and while participation is encouraged, there’s no minimum requirement of hours or financial support.
Here are just a few of the many ways the organizations support and enhance the program and community:
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I)
Co-Sponsor Private School Village - Affinity groups and programming for families that are Black/African American and Hispanic/Latinx
Monthly DE&I Meeting - Open to ALL Families
Cultural Assemblies & Events - Nowruz, Eid, Lunar New Year, Bagpipers, Hispanic Heritage Month, Bomba Group, Native American Storytellers, Holi
Library expansion - To include more diverse representation (Women’s Herstory, Black History, LGBTQIA+ History, Hispanic Heritage, and AAPI History Collections)
