Woodland Hills Private School (WHPS) was founded in 1975 to educate children whose parents believed that "one size does not fit all" and "it takes a village to raise a child". Starting with 25 preschool and kindergarten students at the Collins campus, WHPS staff and parents worked together to recognize and value each child's individual unique traits and encourage them to bring out their full potential. Over the years with the support of WHPS families and in order to meet the needs of our community, we established our elementary division in 1990. In July 2000, WHPS merged with Farm School, established in 1955, to create the Oxnard campus. With over 500 students currently, Woodland Hills Private School continues to be one of the most preeminent schools in the West San Fernando Valley.
WHPS has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) since 1996 and has received the R.O.S.E. Award which Recognizes Outstanding Schools in Education.
